Richard and I decided at the end of November to invest in a new computer for the house. Funny thing is this is our third computer now. What is REALLY different for both of us techies is that this is a MAC from the Apple Corporation.It is a very different system. It's going to take a while to figure out all of the nuances of the machine. Boy this monitor is HUGE! 24inches! The reallly neat thing is that the computer is all self-contained in the aforementioned 24inch monitor. There is no separate CPU box or anything. It's cool. All we had to do is plug in the power and it was ready to go. Wireless keyboard and wireless mouse (called the mighty mouse) and we could have used our wireless network but chose not to (ok so one more cord needed plugging in). This is a cool system.
Since we've named lots of stuff (like the Aloe Vera plant called "Spike" and our Banzai tree called "Zen") just for fun, we decided on MacSpeedy. It seems SO appropriate.

hey kat,
heres a compy question for you... you know on your blog, how you have your name up top and it's not being covered by the blogger bar, well on my blog i put this ticker count down thing on that tells how many weeks along i am and how many days left till the baby pops out, and half of it is covered by the blogger bar, is it because of where i cut and pasted it in the template section, do you know about all that computery whiz stuff?
