At Home - Big and Waddling

Rich is off at a Management Conference in Mexico. He'll be back Friday.

Until then, I'm working on stuff at home. Well, working meaning trying to get up and down mostly. Since Christmas, I've ballooned in size. It's REALLY obvious that there is a bun in the oven to just about everyone. Wearing large shirts and the like. I'm walking tummy first. It's pretty funny.

Constant heartburn, from water no less. ugh.

Now I'm on to doctor appt's every week with 2 different doctors.

Hey Hey Hey - It's BILL COSBY!!!!

Mom gave us a great Christmas present and I'm excited to take part in it tomorrow night.

Mom got us (and David and Michelle too) tickets to see Bill Cosby at the Red Robinson Theatre tomorrow night. David and I (and Mark too of course) have been listening to Bill Cosby's stand-up practically our whole lives. Watching the Cosby Show too through the 80s and 90s.

It is the late show but we're all looking forward to it. I just hope my cough is over before then.

New Year - New Cold

It's already Jan 4th and I'm still dealing with a nasty cold I probably got on the way back from Calgary by plane.

We had a great time visiting with family (including my brother, his wife, and their two kids). We stayed at a hotel with an indoor pool and waterslide. The kids (including my cousins' kids) all had a blast in the pool.

Since returning though, I've been bogged down with a nasty cold. Keeping me up at night. If it's not the flu it's a cold. I can't seem to catch a break in the storm. Just glad the rascal is doing fine.

We go in for our next round of ultrasound on Jan 18th.

Got the letter in the mail yesterday that my medical leave has been approved. YAY! Kind of figured it would be but it's always nice to get the confirmation.
