Iron Sushi Chef Richard

Angela got her Daddy a Sushi kit for Christmas this year with LOTS of help from Mommy. Mommy LUVS sushi.

It came in the box on the right. The mat, book, soy sauce bowls, chop sticks and rests.


Rich went straight for making California rolls for a Japanese meal early in January. A full Japanese style meal. Not just sushi.

He took to it like a duck to water. We did the traditional rolling technique and used the tip about a watered down knife to cut the roll.

The iron chef went all out. Edamame for starters, Gyoza (with proper sauce) and sushi for the main course. Pickled ginger and WASABI! Wahoo! Doesn't this look delicious?



And here is a close up of Richard's latest culinary accomplishment. Doesn't the presentation look lovely. And yes it was SO yummy.



Angela can't wait to try to eat this stuff. Please Daddy Please. I'm ready for sushi NOW! As if lil'A. Sorry. Another couple of years at least.
